Jon JohnsonExecutive Director Sam M. Walton College of Business University of Arkansas Fayetteville, Arkansas PH: (479) 575-6227 jonjohn@walton.uark.edu Jonathan Johnson has served the Walton College as Professor of Management since 1996. His research—which has appeared in numerous journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, where he serves on the review board, and the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Personnel Psychology—focuses on corporate governance and social networks within and between firms. Dr. Johnson has twice been named the “All-Around Outstanding Faculty Member” in the Walton College. Jon efforts led to the University of Arkansas’s recent sustainability initiatives, including establishing The Applied Sustainability Center in July, 2007, which seeks practical solutions for improving the sustainability of corporate business practices. |

Vivian HillAdministrative Assistant Sam M. Walton College of Business University of Arkansas Fayetteville, Arkansas PH: (479) 575-4594 vhill@walton.uark.edu Ms. Hill accrued her broad-based administrative background in electronics manufacturing and distribution, magazine subscription management, and human resources management. Vivian attended the University of Arkansas from 1976-1979 and earned the Bachelor of Arts in 1993 from the University of Texas at Dallas. She served as Administrative Assistant in the Finance Department of the Walton College from 2002-2004, and is glad to be back as a member of The Applied Sustainability Center team. |
Michele HalsellManaging Director Sam M. Walton College of Business University of Arkansas Fayetteville, Arkansas PH: (479) 575-3044 mhalsell@walton.uark.edu From January 2006 to July 2007, Ms. Halsell served as the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs. During her tenure at the Graduate School of Business, she guided the successful launch or re-launch of four masters degree programs. In July 2007, she was asked to take a leadership position in the newly created Applied Sustainability Center. |

Mike brought 15+ years of project management experience in the value-added food and agriculture industry to the Applied Sustainability Center where he enjoys facilitating innovative approaches to make consumer goods more sustainable across the value chain. Mike holds a B.S. and M.S. in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas. In his spare time he can be found fishing, hiking and mountain biking in the Ozark Mountains. |
